I’m Remy, also known as… well, I really can’t say but I’ve been a forever fixture of the ALI tribe under my main blog which is extensively read by people I didn’t exactly want hanging out. You know how that goes…
My background is wide and varied. Married to Mr. X and a mom to my (almost 8!) year old son. We rode the infertility rollercoaster far too many times (see About section above) and all we were left with was an upset stomach and permanent whiplash.
Nowadays, we have been focusing on our impending domestic adoption. Home study approved last fall, and we’ve been “waiting” for about six months now.
Oh, and I recently quit my corporate job I’ve had for the last 20 years to pursue life in the slower lane (aka my Dad’s family business). My last day is today!
Yeah, I am a barrel of fun and surprises. Now that I’ll have more time to blog, I am looking forward to meeting more of you! Hope you stick around.
Fondly,
Remy
Enjoy your last day and good luck with the adoption!! I hope you get a match soon!!

ICLW – Change can be difficult, no matter what it is. The important thing to remember is that nothing every stays the same and you will benefit from each experience you go through – like welcoming a child into your home. I hope the transition goes smooth for you.
Hi from ICLW! Good luck with your upcoming adoption! I hope everything goes smoothly for you and your family.
Good luck with the adoption! Happy ICLW!

ICLW
Hi, I’ve been visiting for ICLW, but I tend to find myself swamped at the end of the month and rarely have time/energy to comment, although I try to balance by doing it the other three weeks of the month. (If that makes sense to anybody but me???) Congratulations on quitting your job! My husband and I are preparing to start the adoption process after we move in July… so I am excited to find your blog and see how your journey goes as you are several steps ahead of where we plan to be walking soon. I look forward to doing a better job of following in May!
